Ecotone- Reverbration Chamber
ECOTONE™ Provides Design Consultancy and also takes Trunkey projects of the Reverberation Chamber. These chambers are needed to test the characterization of the acoustical properties of materials. These chambers are useful to test the STL / NRC performance of acoustic material.
The reverberation chamber design shall meet the test standards (STL) of airborne sound as per IS-9901(Part III) – 1981, DIN 52210 part IV – 1984, ISO: 140 (Part III) – 1995 & test standers for (NRC) airborne sound absorption of Building Elements as per IS: 8225/ISO: 354/ASTM423C.
The designed reverb chamber consists: a source room, a receiver room, adequate diffusion ( stirrer) existed in both the chambers, a receiving antenna, and a transmitting antenna, there are no absorbers. In a reverb chamber, the aim is to create standing waves that are used to generate high field strengths.
The size/volume of the reverberation chamber should depend upon the test object if these are the vehicles / large machine than its size should enable DELTA to generate immunity radiation on vehicles and large machines and if these are building products than the size of the chamber may be smaller. Testing of lower frequencies requires a large chamber to create the standing waves, the chamber must be at least half a wavelength even for a small test object.
