In its design, Ecotone carefully considers the visual character of noise barriers on the surrounding area and environmental setting, so as to reflect the character of their surroundings as much as possible. We always try to preserve aesthetic views and scenic vistas, to the extent possible.

We design the sound barriers from the ground up to protect your particular environment at the lowest cost possible. Whether you need to protect an entire neighborhood or just a portion of one building, Ecotone® Noise Barriers has a solution for you. Regardless of the size of your job, we have the right mix of one-sided or two-sided, sound absorbing or reflecting materials, to reduce noise levels without breaking your budget. Absorptive noise control barriers provide maximum noise reduction with lightweight modular panels and/or louvers.
ECOTONE™ Metallic Noise Barrier
Metallic noise barriers are made of acoustic elements placed horizontally or vertically between the supports railings. They allow large architectural flexibility (colors, motifs, structures…). Their lightness allows producing them quickly, which is economical.
These barriers are isolating and absorbent and meet the strictest criteria of the European standard EN 1793 regarding devices for the reduction of road traffic noise. Acoustic absorption according to EN 1793-1 & Acoustic isolation according to EN 1793-2.
Elements are made in aluminum or galvanized steel. They contain mineral wool protected by a non-defiberizing geotextile that will eventually be neoprene. A perforated grill in aluminum ensures the mechanical protection of the absorbent material.
Metallic noise barriers which comprise the great majority of noise barriers is generally located at the edge of the road to reflect traffic noise. Some noise is transmitted through the barrier but is slightly less intense than the noise level on the other side of the barrier. The height of these barriers is usually greater than other types. Often traffic noise levels increase for the vehicle occupants.
